June 16-17 - Cincinnati, OH - U.S.S.S.A Grand Slam N.I.T. : What a hot one!! The weekend was hot and dirty, but what else do you expect from a ball complex. That's why we love it! The Softball Youth Road Trip made a stop at one of my childhood sandlots. When I was young, I played many tournaments at the five diamond complex in Cincinnati, called Expressway Park. It was really nice to set up the Softball Youth promotions tents and have my long time coach by my side, my father. We spent many years together at this park. So it was nice to spend Father's Day with him watching some ball. This weekend was a battle of fastpitch teams from all over Greater Cincinnati. From U10 to U18, there was plenty of exciting ball to watch! Check out the cool photos below and see what kind of fun the SYRT brings to the diamonds!

What a cute town close to Lake Erie. Todd Field was a five diamond complex that was a perfect for this size tournament. The event was 10u all the way to 18u. The Willoughby Stars had over 70 teams in this event, covering two different complexes. After getting caught in the terrible weather in Akron, we were very lucky to have such beautiful sunshine in Willoughby. The girls loved the Softball Youth Promo Wheel. They were very excited to win such great prizes. The Louisville Slugger Booth was a hug hit with all the teams.
